Habit and diagnostic characters of 19 genera and 35 fungal species growing on naturally infected seeds of three oil crops viz, linseed, mustard and sunflower, isolated using ISTA techniques have been described. The species studies are Alternaria, alternate, ASPERINGILLUS candidus. A.flavus A.terreus, cephalosporium acrimonious, chaetomium bostrychodes, m curvularia pallescens, Drechslera haloes, d.hawaiiensis,m Eurotium sp., Fusarium chlamyosporum cladosporium, F.moniliforme, F.oxyforum, f.pallidroseum, F.proliferatum, F. Solani, F.subglutinans, Gonatobotrys simplex, memnoniella echinate, myrotheciumn verrucaria, penicillium chrysogenum, P.citrinum, phoma exergue, rhizopus stolonifer, stachybotrays atra , syncephalastrum racemosum and verticicllium sp. An overall review of seed-brone mycoflorea of linseed, mustard and sunflower is also included. |
