Abstract:
To measure acoustic frequency, intensity and sensitivity in water tank on the basics of fish movement is a challenging task, for this purpose an autarchic monitoring system is designed. Overall system consists of: acoustic sensor, analog device (spectrometer), software for real time monitoring of acoustic signals under the different measurements. Acoustic frequency (Hz), sensitivity (dB) and pulse response were observed by immersing the sensor in water tank. We verified the tested signals in two ways: 1) by comparing the acoustic signal frequency (Hz), Sensitivity (dB) and Pulse, in absence and presence of fish. 2) Statistical comparison of frequency sensitivity and pulse in a certain time. In this study, frequency (Hz) signal response found to be most significant by immersing the acoustic sensor at different places in absence and presence of fish respectively. This study demonstrated that acoustic frequency measurement is a simple and valuable tool for intense aquaculture environment.
