dc.description.abstract The study is based on the phenolic spot patterns of 10 species of the surgenus Coprosma from New Zealand. C. baueri Endl. (Norfolk Is.) is compared where appropriate, as it has been a source of considerable taxonomic confusion. The spot pattern reflects the variation and major trends as shown by conventional morphological patterns. en_US
