Abstract

Ipomoea sindica Stapf is reinstated as a species distinct from I. eriocarpa R. Bro on the basis of chemotaxonomical and micromorphok)gical evidences. Further, it is made clear that I. sindica Stapf is not based on Convolvulus scindicus Stocks.
