Abstract:
Specimens of Boleodorus azadkashmirensis n. sp. and Filenchus vulgaris new record collected from Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan are described and illustrated herein. B. azadkashmirensis n. sp. comes close to B. similis and B. thylactus on the basis of arcuate to C-shaped body, hooked tail and presence of male. It differs from B. similis by wider transverse striations, head truncate amphidial apertures oblique slits opening at the base of the lateral lips, lateral field 1/3 of the body width, spermatheca offset, absence of phasmids and from B. thylactus in smaller body length, ‘b’ value, and stylet and absence of deirids and phasmids. Filenchus vulgaris is reported for the first in Pakistan.
