Abstract:
ndividual chickpea seedling ranging in age from 10 to 30 days of age were inoculated with second stage juveniles of Meloidogyne incognita to study the influence of host plant age at inoculation on root galling and plant height and fresh weight. Plants which were inoculated at 10 or 20 days of age exhibited a higher degree of root galling and lower height and fresh weight than plants which were inoculated at either 30 or 40 days of age.
