Abstract:
The morphology of males, females and juveniles of Xiphinema basiri Siddiqi, 1959 are presented based on the study of a large number of specimens collected from around the roots of citrus plants growing in Karachi. Both sexes were found all the year round, though males were extremely rare. The four juvenile stages were distinguished from each other on the basis of their body length, size of functional and replacement odontostyle and tail shape.
