dc.description.abstract The cereal cyst nematode has now been considered as a quarantine parasite in Iran. During 1989-90, about 20% of cereal fields were infested with this nematode, 34.5% H. avenae, 31% H. iri, 34.5% H. avenaeand H. iri in Harat and 28.5% H. avenae group in Marvast region of Yazd. The maximum infestation of soil were 6554 eggs and larvae per 100 ml of soils and the eggs and larval densities inside a cyst varied about 200-400 in healthy and filled cyst. en_US
