dc.description.abstract Potato cyst nematodes are problem in the northern areas of Pakistan that also serve as seed production areas. The report still to be verified about G. rostochiensis in Okara, in the plains of Pakistan, led to the need for this study. The effect of high temperature was studied to observe the survival of cyst and it’s hatching abilities when exposed to high temperatures. The study showed that the cyst and the eggs survive the high temperatures in dry conditions but under moist or irrigated conditions they loose the hatching and multiplication ability. en_US
