dc.description.abstract Nematode fauna associated with barberry (Berberis vulgaris L.) was investigated and identified. Soil samples were collected in the spring and summer seasons of 2012 from rhizosphere of barbeny m South Khorasan Province, Iran. The plant parasitlc nematodes were identlfied on the basis of molphological and morphometencal characters. In this study, four species of Boleodorus Thome, 1941 were identified. These species were Boleodorus typicus Husain & Khan, 1968: B. impar Khan & Basir, 1964: B. volutus Lima & Siddiqi, 1963 and B. thylactus Thome, 1941. Except B. thylactus these species have recorded for the first time in Iran. en_US
