Abstract:
A series of solid acid catalysts Studies on the Performances of SO₄²⁻/ZrO₂-Fe₃O₄ (SCFZ), SO₄²⁻/ZrO₂-Fe₃O₄MgO (SZM), SO₄²⁻/ZrO₂-Fe₃O₄-TiO₂ (SZT) and SO₄²⁻/ZrO₂-Fe₃O₄-ZnO (SZZ) are prepared in chemical co-precipitation method. The obtained solid acid catalysts are characterized in detail by X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The results show that the addition of oxides delays the amorphous-tetragonal and tetragonal-to-monoclinic phase transformation of zriconia, and the order of the thermal stability of tetragonal zirconia is SZT, SZM, SZZ, SCFZ. The superacid exhibits high catalytic activity in methanol dehydration to diethyl ether.
