dc.description.abstract Bisnaphthyl based thiol stabilized gold nanoparticles were synthesized by the chemical reduction of corresponding precursor, obtained from Au(III) salt with thiol ligand 4. The organothiol ligand 4 were prepared from 1,1′-binaphth-2,2′-ol in three steps. Furthermore, the photophysical activity of these Au-NPs was also determined. en_US
