dc.description.abstract |
It is shown that the rotation can induce ultra low frequency electrostatic and electromagnetic waves in electron-positron plasmas. In the nonlinear regime these waves can give rise to solitary structures in the form of vortices. The relevance of this investigation to astrophysical plasmas like pulsars is pointed out. |
